Interviews like this are the reason the show fucking blows now. Howard was such a creep Back in the day he thought for damn sure he was getting hit with the me too bullshit, so he went to the opposite extreme and now talks about gay shit 24/7

Wow, Howard was such a cowardly weasel of a person even back then. Doesn’t bother talking about the fact that it’s Robin’s last day until she brings it up on the verge of tears, and then glosses over it. He does this in between viciously mocking someone’s teenage child. Total psychopath.

Hey genius how about trying to consider this alternative. This is early in Howard’s career. He had a formula to follow and was constrained by what he could and could not talk about. Dwelling on why Robin got fired wasn’t something he would have been allowed to do. He still had to hit music cues and get all commercials in on time. He was a dj but you can hear the talent that would eventually get unleashed as his career progressed. Say lots of things about Howard if you must but that guy is loyal to his people. He got Robin up to NY with him. He never forgot her when he absolutely could have. The continued trashing of Howard by incels because his show now reflects that of a 70 year old man is hilarious. I too lost interest in the Stern Show after being a rabid fan from the late 80s to mid 90s but I don’t feel any need to trash him. It’s just too bad he replaced Jackie with a druggy loser. That’s one decision I’ll never understand what he was thinking. His toleration of the druggie kind of showed Howard’s attention to his show waned for a while. No way does Howard Stern of 1993 tolerate one of his guys sleeping on the job and skipping work and barely write anything. I bet Howard is as embarrassed of “the Artie years” as any of his real long time fans are.

1988, when Stern was still great. Fast forward to 2000 he dumps his yenta wife for his beard Beth so he and Ralph can continue as lovers. He became everyone he used to rail against, and became so politically correct it's senseless. Opie and Anthony was by far the best radio show.

I've been mentioned on the show numerous times. I wish I could hear all of it again. I approached Robin in an elevator at SNL and hit on her. Another time I ran into Stern at Westbury / he blamed me for having to go backstage with his family and couldnt watch Dice or Kennison - another time I staged a protest in front of K-Rock -- I filmed the inside of Lettermans Office. That's the stuff I remember. Crazy times as a Stern Fan - my boss was his Pool man in old westbury so I went to the house - past Jackie on the Long Island Expressway while on the way in to KRock.
